Tianyun Chen is a multimedia artist and writer based in Boston/Shanghai, currently finishing their BFA in Media Arts Productions at Emerson College.

Combining analog photography, archival VHS videos, digital and analog manipulations, installations, and text, their work contemplates the entwining nature of past memories, present and dreams, often exploring themes of identity, trauma, and interpersonal relationships with a touch of nostalgic quality.
